Items of interest for writers and readers...
I just finished reading the second chapter of Aldous Huxley's Crome Yellow and am quite enjoying it. Yes, quite. The main character is an author. An author or a poet, don't you know. Denis by name. The writing just flows. It's the type of writing you can lose yourself in like a cozy chair in a home library, by a window with a view of a meadow. A meadow by a marsh where wild things like pheasants live and die while you sit and read. Lovely, just lovely.
