Why should you travel to Mayne Island this weekend?

Model?
Me?
I was asked and I took the challenge.
And...and...I was blown away by the results (which says a lot about the photographer's (Karen Stanley) skills).
What I felt was someone putting something on my head.
What I heard was, "Leanne, look that way. Hold it. Now. Okay."
And you know it was fun...
Liz Mahady, fibre artist, created these beautiful hats.
And the best news...
She's participating in the Artisan Christmas Studio Tour
November 8 (Friday), 9 (Saturday) and 10 (Sunday).

In fact, there's lots happening that weekend.
At great personnel risk, I obtained a copy of the Artisan Christmas Studio Tour brochure (hand-crafted by Richard De Armond). It's a highly sought after document which lists the diverse artisans that will be displaying their work. And, I must add, it does so in a eye-pleasing, user-friendly manner.

 Quoting from said document...

This is a very generous offer, Terrill. I'm glad I could do my small part in helping to publicize it. See you Saturday.

You ROCKED those hats, Leanne — way to go!

Thank you for your comment, Laurie. But it was the photographer who rocked it. I was like a lump of clay. : )
